Après avoir mixé dans une cinquantaine de radios fm et webradios, c’est en 2007 que Frank Savannah dépose ses valises sur RTS fm, la plus grosse radio du sud de la France

Dirigé d’une main de maître par François-Xavier Delacoux, « RTS fm » se distingue à l’époque par son émission « RTS le MIX » regroupant les meilleurs Djs House et Electro du moment.

Frank Savannah commencera alors sur cette radio avec une année de mégamix pour une émission spéciale « années 90 » qui fût un énorme succès auprès des amateurs du genre. Il succédera ensuite à Stan Courtois sur la plage horaire du samedi de 20h à 21 pour un mix House Soulful, Disco & Funky.

Très peu connu à l’époque sur les radios Fm, il est un des seuls en France à jouer ce style là avec Bibi sur NRJ dans l’emission « Better Days », émission dans laquelle il a pu être également diffusé en guest.

Avec le temps, les auditeurs se sont fidélisés et ils ont été de plus en plus nombreux à attendre ce rdv du samedi.

En 2008, RTS fm organise le grand concert « Ma planète verte » au profit de l’environnement dans les arènes de Nimes avec les djs du moment comme David Vendetta, Arno Cost, Greg Cerrone et Laurent Wolf.

Son titre « Never Knew Love » chanté par la Diva disco aux 14 disques d’or, Carol Jiani, figurera sur la compilation de l’événement.

En 2010, au vu de l’engouement pour son émission, François-Xavier Delacoux propose à Frank Savannah de sortir une compilation mixée par ses soins.

« Soulful Session » mixé par Frank Savannah sortira dans les bacs la même année et sera disponible dans les magasins spécialisés comme la fnac, Virgin etc…

Les années s’écoulent et l’émission devient de plus en plus une référence dans le domaine où on peut découvrir chaque semaines des titres inédits en France directement envoyés par les producteurs et maison de disques internationaux.

La signature de l’émission est une House mélodique et vocal avec des touches de disco et de funk mais aussi de Jazz et de musiques latines pour un mix classe et groovy à la fois !

2020 et 2021 sera marqué par un changement historique du nom de « RTS le MIX » par « SOULRISE SELECTION » by Frank Savannah où il aura pu pendant 2 ans faire la sélection de chaque soirées de la semaine en y invitant des DJs Internationaux comme Dj Spen, Michael Gray, Superfunk, Lenny Fontana, Dj Rork, Yass, Freemasons, Laurent Schark etc…

Depuis 2022 et le retour d’RTS le MIX, il a invité ses amis Djs à intégrer avec lui les ondes d’RTS le Mix pour des soirées toujours plus Soulful et Funky, on y retrouve dorénavant avec lui « Jean Jerome », « Tuxxl », « Ethan Rice », « Dj Floy » etc…

Nul doute que les années seront encore longue sur cette belle radio fm ouverte d’esprit !

After having mixed in about fifty fm radios and web radios, it was in 2007 that Frank Savannah dropped his bags on RTS fm, the biggest radio station in the south of France.

Directed with a master hand by François-Xavier Delacoux, « RTS fm » distinguished itself at the time by its program « RTS le MIX » bringing together the best House and Electro DJs of the moment.

Frank Savannah will then begin on this radio with a year of megamixes for a « 90s » special which was a huge success with fans of the genre. He will then succeed Stan Courtois on the Saturday time slot from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. for a House Soulful, Disco & Funky mix.

Little known at the time on Fm radios, he is one of the few in France to play this style with Bibi on NRJ in the program « Better Days », a program in which he was also able to be broadcast as a guest.

Over time, listeners have become loyal and more and more of them are waiting for this Saturday meeting.

In 2008, RTS fm organizes the big concert « My green planet » for the benefit of the environment in the arenas of Nimes with the djs of the moment like David Vendetta, Arno Cost, Greg Cerrone and Laurent Wolf.

Its title « Never Knew Love » sung by the Diva disco with 14 gold discs, Carol Jiani, will appear on the compilation of the event.

In 2010, faced with the enthusiasm aroused by his show, François-Xavier Delacoux asked Frank Savannah to release a compilation mixed by him.

« Soulful Session » mixed by Frank Savannah will be released the same year and will be available in specialized stores such as fnac, Virgin etc…

The years pass and the show becomes more and more a reference in the field where one can discover every week unreleased titles in France directly sent by producers and international record companies.

The signature of the show is a melodic and vocal House with touches of disco and funk but also Jazz and Latin music for a classy and groovy mix at the same time!

2020 and 2021 will be marked by a historic name change from « RTS le MIX » to Frank Savannah’s « SOULRISE SELECTION » where he will have been able to select every evening of the week for 2 years by inviting International DJs such as Dj Spen. , Michael Gray, Superfunk, Lenny Fontana, Dj Rork, Yass, the Freemasons, Laurent Schark etc…

Since 2022 and the return of RTS le MIX, he invites his DJ friends to integrate with him the waves of RTS le Mix for ever more Soulful and Funky evenings, we now find with him « Jean Jerome », « Tuxxl », « Ethan Rice », « Dj Floy » etc…

There is no doubt that the years will still be long on this beautiful fm radio with an open mind!
